    I have previously checked and again today but there is no Red Cross card for Eliza Smith. In the photo she is wearing uniform and is named on the reverse with the other people. She was a midwife until registration came in and we have a picture of her in a nursing uniform. Her son worked at Hinwick before going into the army.

    Service Records are on ancestry - WW1 1914-20, James Thorp, lived Pleshey, Essex. I have not been able to find a Medal Roll Index Card on ancestry.
