Perhaps extension is possible for existing subscribers - but for some currently non-subscribing persons I am sure there are many who would like a quick/short chance to make a last effort. £6 for a only a single day would be considered valuable for some! Come on LOTFWW - allow some people to spend their money fully knowing that it is only going to be a short, but potentially very valuable short subscription.

Rosemary, I think he is looking for a LS for Ernest Kaye Le Fleming which may need creating - which you, but not I, can do. R

This may help find or create a LS: https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/30100/supplement/5295 LONDON GAZETTE, 29 MAY, 1917 ARMY MEDICAL SERVICE.R.A.M.C. — ... 11th May 1917.Ernest Kaye Le Fleming. Ian,

I suspect Ernest's LS is here https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/2325842 - I am sure you can check/confirm - would be great if you could add extra evidence/facts and perhaps a Story(ies) [very easy to add]

As for your father RS. It is hard to determine his LS but if you can provide more details such as his full names, rank(s), number(s) etc. I'm sure it would help immensely the Volunteers or others to find him for you so you can add your other evidence/facts/Story(ies) too.

https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/6094867 will normally be the the Primary as it's his Canadian Attestation so that's the one I would add your evidence/facts/stories to [in fact I've added a few records for you - will leave to you to add facts/ stories etc. - remember to try and keep military in date order so latest ends up heading up his LS] --- with https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/3748579, his MIC, and https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/6874038, his RAF Officer's Record, as secondaries. Found him https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/5284411 = The National Archives had mistranscribed his Medal Index Card as "Henson" [I have advised them] and this had transferred over to LOTFWW. Please add to his LS. Thanks

Allan, Please add to your father's Life Story if you know it - as an image and/or a typed Story. === If you can't find his LS then please supply as much info about him as you can here, such as his name and service and number if possible, and I am sure LOTFWW can help find, or create a LS, for him. From small acorns have grown large oaks.

It's a common glitch - unfortunately if any change to a service or rank occurs later then it comes up as headline - until changed again, so try to be careful in which order you amend, if you can!!!

CWGC have as Chessman. Once clarified the LS can be merged as appropriate.

Eddie beat me to it! - The National Archives had mis-transcribed his S/No. as RTS/2522 - I've let them know! Would be great if you can now add all the other information you have on him :-)
