Provide a means of discovering what others are working on
When I log in I see a "Your Remembered Life Stories" section but I'd also like to know what else is new since my last visit. I realize that at some point the amount of new information may be overwhelming but it would still be nice to have a selection of people recently "remembered" or images that have been added, etc..
At the moment I feel somewhat isolated from the other activity taking place on the site. While some individuals may only be interested in adding to the life stories of their family members there are others who may wish to exchange information or ideas with each other. We need some means of connecting.
The ability to browse, rather than search, the site would also be a nice addition.
The new home page ( https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/home ) highlights how many Life Stories have been remembered as well as showing the most recent updates from other users.

That sounds great, I'm looking forwarding to seeing the new features. I'll also check out the new discussion forum. Thanks.
Hi Steve - we've actually just set up a discussion forum on here to let our test users connect with each other; many thanks for the suggestion: http://support.livesofthefirstworldwar.org/forums/245307-discussion
We're also working on various ways to highlight all the activity taking place on the site, and will soon be adding features to allow you to find Life Stories that have been recently updated, recently remembered, with the most facts added, and more.
