    • Please merge duplicate records

Can I suggest the merging of the following records that all relate to the same individual - Ivor Hemmings. Each record shows the same Service Number 21423 and the same regiment - South Wales Borderers

Nurse from USA. I have just added a web link to her entry, I think she merits much more than this

                  • Reverend Waldepare Dent Bainbridge Bell - Transcription error

His name was seeded from an incorrect transcription at the National Archives. This has recently been corrected by them. I have added an external link to the Life that shows the corrected National Archives record. It is also correctly recorded on FmP in respect of his Silver War badge - also linked. Can this be referred for correction please.

                      • Private Charles Hurcombe 2001 Gloucestershire Regiment

Service Number created from Medal Index Card Transcription is incorrect. The card shows 2001 but was handwritten and not entirely clear. The typed Medal Roll Lists and the regimental museum database confirm that the number should be 2021. I have advised the National Archives of the error.

                          • Suggested Life Stories limited to 20 Votes - WHY?

When I joined 'Lives' I suspected I would find several unrecorded Stories- how right I was. Like many other people I tried to add as many as possible in 1 vote until that was vetoed (1 suggestion/ 1 Vote). This week I visited Banstead All Saints Churchyard, Surrey (7 CWGC WW1 graves) Photographed them all to add to 'Lives'. 3 do not have a Lifestory on LOT1WW. I managed to add one only to be told I have used up all my votes so how do I add the rest?. Before this project finishes I am sure I will find…

I believe that this is Gunner Ernest Chadderton 107104 Royal Field Artillery.

                                      • What can I do if I have photos but can't pin down the right Life Story?

I'd like to upload some photos I have of my great uncle during WW1, but I don't know his service number, only that he served in Egypt in the RAMC. There are 3 possible Life Stories with the same name (William H Whitehead). I've tried searching Records for the 3 service numbers given, but can't find anything to rule any of them out. Nor can I find anything by searching on his name to link to Egypt. Any suggestions gratefully received.

                                        • St.Clement Danes Book of Remembrance

Along both sides of the church are shrines of remembrance, containing the books of remembrance, in which are inscribed the names of those men and women who have died on active service with the Royal Air Force.
Could get there for a possible photograph when the weather is better or maybe you have some already.
