Private 7981 Willis Fowke, R.A.M.C. Enlisted 10 March 1914. Served on board HMHS Asturias, until it was torpedoed on 21 March 1917.

Born in Duffield, Derbyshire in 1884, and worked as a collier at Mapperley Colliery until he enlisted.
He was taken off overseas service on 22 March 1917. Without a ship he was sent to a billet at Blackpool Airport, where the RAMC had a training centre.
On 28 June 1918 he was transferred to Class P Army Reserve to resume civil employment as a collier in Mapperly.
On 10 April 1919 he was honourably discharged surplus to Military requirements.
He died in Duffield on 29 September 1975

Lives of the First World War is a source-based project. In order for a Life Story to be created, source-based evidence, such as a service record, is required. Can you please provide the requisite evidence that will be the business case for adding him to the database.
If he died and has a CWGC record, this would be useful. If he has a service record, this could be another source which would justify his addition to the database. I am not finding any source material on this man.
