Thomas Tranter was born in Wimblebury Staffordshire in June 1891. Thomas was killed in Ypres Belgium on the 23 April 1915 he was serving as Lance Corporal with the Yorks and Lancs Regiment and is commemorated at the Menin Gate in Ypres. He was 23 years old

    Hello Lynn,

    Your "life story narrative" is acknowledged. This forum is just a means to an end, and it will be destroyed in a few days time. What will continue, as a Permanent Digital Memorial is the database, which is the happy ending.
