Stoker Petty Officer George Oakley Service no. 286552

Can find him easily on CWGC, but missing from LoFWW.

Also listed on Naval-history.net as a casualty on Submarine E24 on 24 March 2016, researched from original Admiralty documents.

Hi Bridget, I've added a lifestory for him here

    https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/7665906

He is one of many men who joined the Navy before 1899 and was still serving during the war, some of the volunteers are working to identify and add all of these missing men, you may well find others in your communities, please flag them here and they will be added as a priority.
    Thanks
    Richard
