Sapper Harold Norman Wallace

Sapper Harold Norman Wallace, born Suffolk 1898. He joined the army 9th November 1916 at Eastbourne and gave his home address as 3 Rucklands Terrace, Hailsham.
He was a motor cycle driver and joined the Army Service Corp, service number M2/268999.
Then he was transferred to the King's Royal Rifle Corp, service number R39100.
Finally he joined the Royal Engineers, service number 314791, and on discharge gave his home address as Myrtle House, Battle Road, Hailsham. This information came from his Army records.
