Private Joseph William Watson

Pte Joseph William Watson, East Kent Regiment (The Buffs), service number 15705, born 1895, Hailsham.
He enlisted 31st January, 1916 at Tonbridge in the Kent Cyclist Bn, service number 2351, and later that year transferred to the East Kent Regiment. He was captured on 18th November 1916 at Runcourt and spent the duration of the war as a prisoner of war until his release and demob on 11th Novemeber 1919. Information supplied from his Army Records.
