  1. Walter Huggins

Walter Huggins was born on 26 January 1887 in Islington. He was killed in the Battle of the Somme on 28 October 1916. He was a member of the 1st Battalion of the Middlesex Regiment. I cannot find him listed in Lives Remembered. His regimental number was G/9982, I have found a Register of Soldier's Effects entry for him but no Medals record. Please can he be included?

  3. William Charles Lade

I have Ancestry found the following:

  4. William Harold Trant Williams

    Hello.

This chap doesn't appear to be listed. There are a number of William Harold's but no William Harold Trant Williams. He was shot down the Red Baron. A Gazette entry is linked below

    https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/30117/supplement/5605/data.pdf

    Thanks

    Trevor

  5. Stoker Petty Officer George Oakley Service no. 286552

Can find him easily on CWGC, but missing from LoFWW.

Also listed on Naval-history.net as a casualty on Submarine E24 on 24 March 2016, researched from original Admiralty documents.

  10. Louis Solomon, Born 1873 died 22 September 1917, (Belgium) Reg No: 219 Kings Royal Rifle Corp, Army Reserve Special Service.

This is a name missing with no data, he was a re-enlisted man, serving in the Kings Royal Rifle Corp, his Service Records,UK Soldiers affects are all available on Ancestry, he is recorded on WGC site & UK Soldiers that died in the first world - he is the last of a group of one extended family that I am putting on LOTFWW.

  14. Frank Evershed and Francis Raymond Evershed

    Hi,

I think that there is an error in the Medal Card for F R Evershed, (later Master of the Rolls)
    https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/lifestory/1178661,
which has him down as both Nottingham and Derbyshire Regiment and Royal Engineers. Being born in 1899 and commissioned into the Royal Engineers in 1918, the only reason I can see him being in the Notts & Derbys is it hosting his cadet unit, but that's unlikely because his Wikipedia entry has him at Clifton College, Bristol. The actual card says 'Sherwood Foresters' and that he was ineligible for the medals.
