Capt. William Thomas Turner - New Life?
I can't find him though think it would be really remarkable if he didn't have a Life Story - Captain of RMS Lusitania when it was sunk by a German torpedo in May 1915
We already have stories on Lives for those who lost their Lives on the Lusitania: https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/community/3291 They fit into the criteria of 'Civilians who died or were injured as a direct result of the war e.g. victims of enemy raids, munitions factory accidents, attacks on ships'. However, the captain is different because he survived and technically he was in charge of a civilian passenger ship. But I think that because it has been established that the Lusitania was carrying weapons to support the war effort, we can include him. Here is his Life Story page: https://livesofthefirstworldwar.org/LifeStory/7683462
Thanks and Best Wishes,
